2014 has seen some amazing albums. They were ranging from melodic influenced hardstyle like “Noisecontrollers – Around the world” to the rawest stuff like “Minus Militia – Legion of strength”. We can surely say that it has been a great musical year for hardstyle. But we at Alive at night believe in looking forward rather than looking back, so we’ll be summing up some of the already announced albums of 2015.
Audiofreq’s “Audiology” (Release date – TBA)
Last week Audiofreq announced his second artist album on the web with the message that it’s going to be about “Audio Alchemy”. Sounds weird ey, but we for sure are curious as fuck about this new piece. To think of it, he already produced one of the most forward thinking albums in the scene and even wants to push boundries even further with this new one!
Geck-o’s album, title still TBA. (Release date – February 2015)
This year Geck-o talked about his first album a few times and actually announced it in his latest single “Craving” that’s also going to be featured on the album. The only thing we do know so far is that the album is going to be fresh and is ranging from 130 to 150bpm. One of the albums that you should really look forward to if you’re into forward thinking music.
The Pitcher’s “Shock and Awe” (Release date – TBA)
Recently the Pitcher released an album trailer and a preview of the title track “Shock and Awe”. Since the announcement of the album it is promoted together with a message of going back to the roots of Hardstyle; Energetic and epic. Definitely an album to buy when it’s coming out.
Phuture Noize’s “Phuture Propaganda” (Release date Q1 2015)
A few weeks ago Phuture Noize released their new track “Hope” with that they announced that their previously announced 8 tracker EP is actually going to be a whole artist album. The message of this album is still going to be about “putting the soul back into (raw)hardstyle”. Like their first single showcases, this album is going to be forward thinking and something you should definitely listen to when it gets released.
