#TBT – A well deserved tribute to Wildstylez’ “Back 2 Basics”

Warriors, it’s been one hell of a summer, right? From smooth sailing through the spring months, right up to the major festivals, although the weather hasn’t been on our side lately, we can surely feel thankful for all the great party moments we’ve had so far. This weekend, it’ll be all feet to the battlefield at AIRFORCE Festival, so I hope you all have your camo ready for this newly-established concept.

Speaking of new, let’s not forget about the old, shall we. And, as it’s Thursday again, we’re ready to throw it back to the good ole’ days where majestic melodies and regal tunes reigned supreme. Representing the midst of the ‘golden era,’ our #TBT this week is a foot-thumping, groovy gem, packed full with reverse bass! Guys and gals, give it up for this week’s highlighted tune, “Back 2 Basics” by Wildstylez!

Released in 2011, “Back 2 Basics” scraped right to the core of a Hardstyle fans soul. Not just with it’s addictive composition, but this track’s story and lyrics encompassed something truly relevant during that time. Actually, come to think of it, those same principles explored in this release can very well be applied in today’s scene. That’s right – let’s go b-b-b-b-back to the basics!
