#TBT – A well deserved tribute to Nosferatu & Tha Playah’s “Fade To Nothing”
The last day of summer is upon us! *sad face* Seasons are changing and the festival season draws to its bitter and very depressing closing. For some, it’s just that parties move indoors, and for others it signifies so much more. Perhaps you’re starting a new job, perhaps you’re going back to school or perhaps you’ve finally done it and quit both of them in order to become a full-time raver!
What a summer this was though! The sun was so good at hiding it nearly felt as if every summer day was being coined as the coldest summer day in a hundred years. Oh well, regardless of our dear glazing ball friend in the sky being so vacant there’s been so much going on in the world that we’ve made due without him. Headhunterz returns to Hardstyle and right after that we came pretty close to complete fallout in the east. A summer truly worthy of remembering, in that exact same order.
Yesterday as I was heading towards the gym in my car, I was listening to one of my older Hardcore playlists on Spotify and noticed that a track produced by Nosferatu & Tha Playah was moments away from annihilating my car sound system. My phone isn’t that big so I couldn’t see which one, but I was pleasantly surprised by an incredibly twisted drop in true Hardcore fashion. I realised “Fade To Nothing” was a track I hadn’t heard in a long while, upon which a break sets in and things start to get really friggin’ deep. Vocals about how our lives are defined through just a handful of special moments that life present to us… I couldn’t help but ponder over how a lot of those moments for me right now stem from the summer that just passed by.
With an amazing climax that only these two masterminds of Hardcore can pull off, nothing but pure euphoria rushes through my entire body upon hearing this tune’s epic melody. Hit up this track, take some time off this Thursday and reflect upon all the great moments life presented to you this summer. Let some purely euphoric Hardcore dazzle your senses, and share a laugh with your squad over all the weird and epic stories you all shared this summer…
