#TBT – A well deserved tribute to Korsakoff’s “The Torment Of Triton”
With our ‘Females Week’ in full swing, it’s been the perfect opportunity to highlight just how much the lovely ladies of our scene have accomplished! Through interviews, features and much more, it’s evident that us ladies are a force to be reckoned with! Today, seeing as it’s Thursday, it’s time to take a peek into the past and pay our respects to one hell of a track, which just so happens to belong to one of Hardcore’s most cherished gals.
Sporting unstoppable vibes, booming basslines and endless energy, we’re proud to present our #TBT for this week – “The Torment Of Triton” by ‘lady boss’ Korsakoff!
Serving as the Belgian Masters of Hardcore anthem for 2012, “The Torment Of Triton” was actually one of the first Hardcore tracks I ever heard, making it all the more special! I can vividly remember hearing the high BPM’s pounding through my speakers as I was instantly mesmerised. The perfect harmony between the refreshing melody and rapid kicks sent shivers down my spine and after that I felt an in-explainable zest to continue discovering Hardcore music.
Serving as one of her finest works, this anthem also belongs to Korsakoff’s 2012 album ‘Stiletto,’ a body of work containing numerous incredible tracks. Some other stand-outs from the album include “Amber,” “Hymn Of Syndicate” with Outblast, “Come To Me” and “Unconquered” with Re-Style.
Big ups to Korsakoff for all of her achievements within Hardcore – you are forever a queen!
