#TBT – A well deserved tribute to Frequencerz’ “Bitch.”

Looking outside of my window, all I can see is rain bucketing down mercilessly as it emerges out from the thick, grey clouds. This ain’t summer, that’s for sure, but I guess that very rarely we can all appreciate The Netherlands’ sense of humour when it comes to their weather forecasts. On the topic of rain, hail and shine, I think we’ve been pretty damn lucky this festival season and may I add that this weekend is anticipated to be, wait for it… perfect! But for now, we’ll be cuddling up in our blankets and binge-watch series – oh how melancholic…

Moving on; I’m now going to sloppily make a link between the bad weather and the terrible week I’ve been having and introduce a track that’s made me feel a small tinge of hope in the harder times. Containing an unrelenting drive, remorseless atmosphere and everything in between, let’s spotlight a special 2012 release that still has fans dancing. We proudly present our #TBT for this week – Frequencerz’ slamming hit “Bitch.”

Back when “Bitch” was released in 2012, raw Hardstyle was still hanging around the underworld of the scene, silently, yet powerfully plotting its combative takeover. Unlike the ‘mainstream’ melodic names, Frequencerz hung around in the shadows for a while, but little did these two talented guys realise is that their productions would constitute the summit of the raw revolution. Their track “Bitch” was a defining factor in their career as they pushed the boundaries with their penetrating screeches, yet sophisticated and quality edge of production.

Fast forward to four years later and even when “Bitch” or its Crypsis remix is dropped during sets, the crowd goes absolutely wild and in tribute to that, I’ve decided to feature it this week.
