#TBT – A well deserved tribute to B-Front’s “Mysterias.”

The greatest power that music has is that it allows you to completely shut off from the world and immerse yourself into a parallel dream-world where your wildest imaginations turn into a vivid reality. Saying that, some tracks allow you to submerge yourself deeper than others and before you know it, you’ve completely zoned out for a good four minutes. This concept is what we’ve solely based our #TBT around as this certain time-transcendent work of art has the ability to hold listeners hostage in another world, throwing them off the cliff of their own mind and into a gleaming pot of reveries.

So without further adieu, I present our #TBT tribute for this week… “Mysterias” by B-Front.

Unofficially crowned as the master of all things ‘atmospheric,’ B-Front is an example of an artist who can translate such complex stories into the medium of sound. Managing to release a plethora of mind-blowing masterworks, B-Front is best known for his hard-hitting, yet emotionally wrenching sound that blends the hardness of Hardstyle with spontaneous, unexpected melodies.

For me, his ‘magnum opus’ is “Mysterias,” a track that’s a little spooky, extremely intriguing and is forever a golden gem in the history of Hardstyle. Many of you can agree that “Mysterias” is one of his biggest musical standouts and is also the perfect track for any environment; whether it’s a festival when the sun begins to set as you hang your head back, close your eyes and embrace life or at home, when you’re creeping around at 4AM for fun. Released almost four years ago in 2012, this track showcases a sound that’s so far ahead of its time and I have no doubts that it’ll still be just as loved in coming years.
