Robert Sillerman, head of SFX Entertainment bought quite a bunch of party organizations and EDM-related companies back in 2012 and 2013. Not just ID&T, but also b2s, Q-dance, Paylogic and Awakenings, as well as iMotion (Nature One), Electric Zoo and the online music store Beatport. SFX entered the Nasdaq stock in 2013 and has been free-falling ever since. Neither Sillerman, nor share holders are amused, so solutions had to be found. With no-one to take hold of the entire company, the possibility of buying back their shares would open up for companies such as b2s, Q-Dance and ID&T. Still, uncertainty remains for current stock holders.
