“Diversity is a major part of our culture as Australians and it is evident in our music” – Fanatics
This year the Blue and Black stages have merged into one unholy stomping ground of Raw and Hardcore, and understandably fans of both genres were a little upset. But as Yusof and Michael from Archetypez poignantly states “you can’t please everyone”. Every year there has been a change to Defqon in some way, shape, or form, and Q-dance does its very best to cater to everyone’s tastes. With that being said, the decisions made to not only the merge the Blue and Black stages, but to create the Australian Hard Dance stage (UV) has prompted Australian Harder Styles fans to further embrace the diversity of their local scene and celebrate the producers who’ve been working tirelessly to build Australia’s reputation.
