After playing at Discoteca Shock last night alongside Digital Punk, Crypsis and Radical Redemption, Miss K8 took it to social media a short time ago with the following post:

With ‘escile’ being slang for asking a girl to show her boobs, Miss K8 took her complaints online, outlining that what happened at Discoteca Shock last night was not okay. Being a beautiful female in the music industry, Miss K8 gets her fair share of admiring comments, but this is just disgusting that fans could be so fucking disrespectful towards a female performer. She is taking her own time to come and perform for her fans and it’s such a shame that these guys screaming derogatory things at her have not only ruined her performance but have outlined once again that females are discriminated against in this industry. As fans, it’s so important to show respect to our favourite artists, more so if they are women, a minority group in the music industry. Miss K8 is no short of a great performer either as she made it into the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s for 2015 – so all we have left to say is “fuck the haters!”

Miss K8, we love you and we hope that these offensive comments from the Italian crowd do not get you down! We fully support your music and performances and we are also happy to see that you have taken this matter publically, making the public aware of these issues.
