Be REBORN: The countdown to the grand festival season kick-off has officially begun!
The clocks have moved forward one hour, the temperatures are rising and the university semester is now in its final months. It’s officially one hell of a cliché, but spring has sprung!
After six and a half months of indoor madness and raves from 9 till’ 7 in the morning (followed by ratchet after parties that last for Sunday’s entity), festival-goers can rest assured, knowing that their circadian rhythms are about to return back to a seemingly normal cycle.
The moment we’ve all been waiting for is now closer than ever, because this coming Saturday, the 8th of April, thousands of party-people will be sparkling with joy as they enter the gates to the first festival of the 2017 summer season – Rebirth Festival!
As THE grand opening for the golden, cherished months of the year, Rebirth Festival not only hosts one hell of a jubilant weekend celebration, but this festival also sets the standard for what’s yet to come. I’ve been fortunate enough to experience Rebirth Festival once before, and boy, the vibe is something so incredibly unique – you can literally feel the excitement radiating off each and every visitor.
Enter this years’ ‘Unexpected World’ and feel the power of music hit you square in the face! Okay, well, not so literally, but you get what I mean, right? It’s been a long time coming with many #TBT pictures posted on Instagram with the caption “can the festival season return already?!” But now, this monumental moment is so close – oh hey, there it is right across the street getting out of a taxi.
Anyway, enough chatter – let’s take a moment to share some excitement for Rebirth Festival!
With the word out that NSCLT are responsible for this years’ anthem “REBORN” feat. LXCPR, the boys have gone above and beyond to capture the fresh bout of delight one experiences when roaming the Rebirth Festival terrain. Personally, this has got to be their best track yet – so for those who haven’t yet heard this masterpiece, all I have to say is get on that shit, NOW!
In terms of line-up, I could yap on forever, but I won’t (because that’s boring AF). What I WILL say, however, is that whether you’re a raw fan-boi, euphoric lover, classics veteran, Freestyle hoe or talent scout then Rebirth has got your utmost needs and desires covered to a tee!
Now, I know that some of you rant on about how devoted and how much of a true Hard Dance fan you are. Blah blah blah – quit the talking, and start the walking! Now’s your chance to really build up some stamina and prove how devoted you are by partying not only on Saturday, but also on Sunday! Besides, Sunday is ‘extra gezellig’ with a bunch of purely Dutch entertainers programmed on the line-up (aside from the hottest names and most anticipated talents in Raw Hardstyle).
Ravers and raver-ettes, I’ll leave it here (for now) – but all I’ll say is get excited, hyped, pumped and amped for the official kick-off of the 2017 festival season! Of course I’ll be there representing Alive at Night in prime turntness, so I hope to catch you all there for a boogie and a cheeky wine!
