#TBT – A well deserved tribute to The Pitcher’s “I Just Can’t Stop”
As things cool down in the Northern hemisphere and civilians crawl into their homes for hibernation, down here in the ‘dirty’ south, we’re stripping down and embracing the summertime with scorching hot temperatures and long days spent laying on the beach. Underneath the Hard Dance bubble, things are at an ultimate high and it seems as though the announcement of Project One has made fans rather nostalgic for the classics.
As it’s Thursday, it’s time to dig up another classic and before you can even ask, no, we’re not #TBTing Project One again, because there’s so many other worthy tunes from pre-2010. This time, we’re handing it over to Fusion Records representative The Pitcher as we pay our respects to one of his most legendary tracks “I Just Can’t Stop.”
Although The Pitcher is an artist who represents the past, present and future of Hardstyle, back in the days he/they held one of the most legendary signature sounds of that time which also fit within the ‘classic’ Fusion Records sound.
When I first heard The Pitcher’s 2009 release “I Just Can’t Stop” I was actually running on the treadmill at the gym and despite being in a tiresome sweat I was able to squeeze out one last burst of energy. Music has the ability to provide a listener with so much power – and this track is a perfect example of that. Back in 2009, the production quality of this track was insane for the time and even seven years after its release, this tune is still deemed as no less than legendary.
