We’re now just one week away from HTID In The Sun 2017!
In just seven days from now ravers will be arriving in Magaluf and getting ready for not just a weekend but a full four nights of UK Hardcore!
Not just a night out, or another festival, HTID In The Sun is a summer holiday for ravers and artists alike, with the beautiful Magaluf beach weather lifting everyone’s spirits. Talking of spirits, whatever your tipple the drinks will be free poured and free flowing at the club every single night at the exclusive free bar!
‘Hardcore ‘Til I Die’ is our oath of allegiance to the music we love and to the raver lifestyle! HTID is not just a party, it’s our way of life.
HTID means so much to ravers that we literally travel from all around the world for this chance to party together with likeminded passionate souls who just cannot get enough of this beautiful music. Everyone is in relaxed, summer holiday mode and ready to party, ravers and artists alike!
As we count down to the doors opening at the most prestigious event in the UK Hardcore calendar, we caught up with some of the artists who will be performing in Magaluf and asked them:
“What does HTID mean to you?”
Alex Prospect
“There is something about this music, about UK Hardcore, which when you ‘get it’ you get obsessed with it and HTID encapsulates that feeling, that passion and the allegiance we have to our music.
I’m really looking forward to the music out at HTID In The Sun this year; everyone in the scene is working really hard right now and with the inclusion of major Hardstyle artists the level of music quality will be even higher than any other year! I think that this friendly competition between artists will drive everyone to bring their A-game and I expect this HTID In The Sun will set a new high standard for our genre!
From now until HTID I’m working every day on new music, edits and mixes especially for my set on the opening night!”

“UK Hardcore has such a fiercely loyal fanbase. The people who enjoy this music do so irrespective of what others think. It’s pure passion. That’s what I like about the scene, and I suppose that’s what ‘HTID’ means to me. It’s about going all in, supporting what you love 100%, and not really caring what anyone else thinks about it.
I’m super excited for my set on Thursday night! Handing over to Darren Styles will definitely be a highlight for me.
I’m also really looking forward to hearing some of Audiofreq‘s new UK Hardcore; even the brief teasers he dropped on his Instagram sound amazing.
I went to HTID In The Sun for the first time in 2016, and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life.
On the last night, I was at the bar in Boomerang, chatting to Dougal (as you do) and one of my tracks came on. He actually recognised the track before I did and started humming the melody. I’ve gotta say, that did feel quite cool! One of the things we want most as producers is to get the attention of the people we look up to, so that was definitely a special moment for me.”

“What does HTID mean to me? Hope!
At HTID In The Sun I’m looking forward to performing the music I love, to the people who love the music that I love. It’s a circle of love.
It may indeed be true that some artists like to party at HTID In The Sun…. one year I got so drunk and rowdy that I got kicked off the stage and out of the club… during my set!”
We are assured that Gammer will remain in the club for his entire set this year, so no need to worry!
