Artist Of The Month – October, 2016!
You know what they say; time flies when you’re having fun, and 2016 has been no exception to this rule! It’s been an exciting year with an unforgettable summer festival season and although hibernation season is upon us, it won’t stop us from raving! With a ton of great indoor events on the horizon, it’s safe to say that our scene is one big all-year-round party!
Anyway, let’s get down to it; it’s a new month, which means that we’ve had to choose an artist to represent the next four weeks. Last month we featured euphoric twin-brothers Sound Rush, so it only seemed logical to amp up the screeches and go raw with our October representative! Our chosen artist has pushed limits, topped charts and flown around the world to spread his savage sound. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s give it up for our artist of the month for October – E-Force!
Dude-behind-the-act Edward Aandewiel launched his solo career back in 2011 and since then has soared. Immediately coming into contact with eminent platform A2 Records, he began pumping out boundary-breaking releases that set a new standard for contemporary raw Hardstyle.
As raw Hardstyle began rising, so did E-Force, who by 2014 had released a staggering amount of outstanding tracks! “Men Of Steel” alongside Frequencerz, “Second Nightmare” and “The Game” with Luna and “Crucifix” proved Ed’s abilities and placed him into a headlining status. And who could forget “Seven?!” We certainly didn’t; this chart-topping hit send E-Force’s name into the stratosphere as it swept through the scene faster than wildfire! Still deemed as one of raw Hardstyle’s evergreen hits, this modern classic will be embedded in the memories of fans for many years to come.
Many thought that “Seven” would be a one-hit wonder, however those theories were proven wrong when E-Force grasped 2015 with both hands and continued industriously pumping out insane releases! Tracks like “Oldschool Flow” and “Open The Gates” alongside Adaro as well as Qapital anthem “Blood Written,” “Rawness” with Deetox and the Ground Zero anthem “Disorder” had immense impact as they set the bar incredibly high for raw music. Euphoric fan-boys may have a few growing pains when they experience the ‘Force’ for the first time, however it’s undeniable that Ed’s production quality is amongst the best in the Hardstyle scene.
Holding an ever-extending discography to his name, E-Force has had the honour to showcase his tunes at the world’s biggest events including Hard Bass, Dominator, Defqon.1, CRAFT, Masters of Hardcore, Bassleader, The Qontinent, Dance Valley, WiSH Outdoor and many more!
2016 has been no less than triumphant for E-Force, who’s already released a handful of superb tracks such as “Boomstick,” “Illusion” featuring Nikkita, “Gods” with Frequencerz and “F*ck This Nation” with Luna. Most recently, alongside Warface, E-Force also launched the exclusive live-act War Force. Claiming the honourable title as the Supremacy anthem-makers, this pair has also unleashed previews for “Reloaded,” “Break Your Ankes,” “Devastation” and “Justice.”
Before we wrap things up, we’d like to congratulate E-Force on claiming our ‘artist of the month’ title and hope to see him around soon! For the rest of you, we hope that you enjoy the month of October.
