I love classics. Classics are fucking great and any early hardstyle or old-school stage and I’m fucking there. However, when listening to sets from these areas, I found that a lot of DJ’s tend to spin the same tunes as each other, except for this set by Geck-o at the Remember stage at Decibel Outdoor Festival earlier this year. The first time I listened to it I heard tune after tune that I could barely recognise and to me, this is a great thing – it opened my eyes to a whole collection of older tunes that I was never particularly exposed to (plus, Soul Train is in there, and that’s always a plus, right?!)
So here we are, it’s Monday and a lot of you are suffering from a raging Qlimax hangover; and what better way to cure that then with some funky beats?!
