Amsterdam Dance Event is undoubtedly one of the biggest annual dance music events in The Netherlands. Ranging from various seminars led by the best to some of the most anticipated parties, this is a week that has something for everyone and is quite generous to those fans and professionals within the harder styles. From what we remember from last years festivities, the HDE conference and live event were some of the highlights and were a gathering of fans, artists, professionals and experts all under one roof!
A short time ago, HDE announced this years’ concepts and some things that we can expect from this years conference.
“On the 15th of October, the harder styles of dance music will be the center of attention at the 2015 edition of Hard Dance Event (HDE) in The Melkweg, Amsterdam. The Melkweg will form the setting for a crossroad of knowledge, visions and discussions around the (Hard) Dance Scene.
HDE: Conference
During the HDE Conference there will be several stimulating seminars given by inspiring speakers. This year, the HDE Conference is again divided in two parts, the HDE University and HDE Pro.
HDE University gives insight into the world of Hard Dance Music and teaches you everything and anything around the (Hard) Dance Scene, whereas HDE Pro takes a deeper approach to subjects and insights.
HDE: Pro
HDE Pro explains how it works in the professional side of the hard dance scene; which steps do you need to take before releasing a new track? This year, HDE Pro has a wide range of professional speakers including publishers, managers and even artists!
One of these guest speakers will be the one and only Radical Redemption who will talk about his success and popularity that was achieved in such a short amount of time.
Secondly, there will be the “music pro” panel where artists, label managers and publishers will give a master class for everyone who is involved in the production side of hard dance music.
HDE: University
The HDE University will give further insight into the different disciplines within the Hard Dance industry and what is going on within the scene.
Digital Punk and his ‘Unleashed’ concept will get its own spot consisting of not only the man himself, but also his management, bookings agency and Scantraxx Recordz who are going to inform you about this concept and how they are working around the clock to make this concept successful.
This year, HDE University will also be highly interactive. Visitors will be able to ask our speakers questions in relation to their area of expertise.
The Darkraver also has the honour to be one of the speakers at HDE University this year. Steve Sweet will represent the developments around the popular hard dance genre, Freestyle. This panel will consist of party concept Pussy Lounge, record label Foolish and two renowned Freestyle artists.”
