Sounds pretty fun doesn’t it? You know, running around in the rain blasting music through your headphones and feeling cheerful…
Most of you are probably thinking “people only do that in movies, where the rain is fake and there are usually no actual cars on the road,” but oh, oh, oh, how misguided you are… Regardless of the weather, the presence of motor vehicles and whether our headphones cost $20 or $200, if we hear a fantastic track and we just so happen to be outside in the rain – nothing will stop us from dancing or singing along… This is what sets hardstyle so distinctively apart from other musical scenes, the never-ending passion, excitement and boundless amounts of energy that manage to keep us coming back for more!
Just before I walked off onto a short tangent there, the ultimate intention of this article is to introduce newcomers to the hardstyle scene, to the music and the ever so tight knitted community.
So, let me begin by just saying “Welcome!”
You have definitely made the right decision jumping over the line to immerse your senses and brighten up your life with the lifestyle that we call “Hardstyle.”
For those of you who are indeed new to the scene, it can be difficult sometimes finding your feet, finding events that would cater to your desires and most importantly, finding tracks that tickle your fancy. So have no fear, this article is here as a guide for newcomers joining the scene… It will be your little bible for the next however long until you are more comfortable with finding your way around.
